This is an excellent opportunity to join the team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. The successful candidates will jointly manage patients in a newly created 24-bedded general medical ward. We are seeking Locum consultants with enthusiasm, commitment and drive to work closely with colleagues throughout the organisation and within the community to help lead the organisation. These are 2 Fixed term posts based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.

Specialty locum consultant with an interest in general internal medicine and acute medicine, core role will be delivering in-patient care on a 24 bedded ward with some outlier patient care commitments. The patients will be a mix of GIM and those with ongoing oncology or haematology conditions presenting with inter-current illnesses. Sessions will be available to deliver speciality OP work or sessions within acute medicine or a sessions as feasible working at Addenbrookes with the Infectious Disease Team. There will be expectation to contribute to the Physician of the Day rota for unselected medical take on weekdays and weekends.
