University of Staffordshire is seeking a Registry Operations Assistant (Scheduling and Room Bookings) to help us deliver outstanding teaching, welcome, and room booking experience.

About the role

As Scheduling and Room Bookings Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient scheduling of Institute of Policing activities across our partner forces. You will support the wider team to deliver a high quality service to enhance the student and staff experience. You will provide expert advice on scheduling matters to key stakeholders, including academic schools and departments. You will also contribute to continuous service review to ensure we remain aligned with sector best practices.

Main Responsibilities

- Support the staffing and scheduling of teaching activities across the Institute of Policing.
- Provide expert advice on scheduling matters to key stakeholders, including academic schools and departments.
- Administer the University’s room booking system, ensuring smooth and responsive service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of data input across key systems to support operational planning and reporting.
- Gather feedback and insights to drive service enhancements and process improvements.
- Contribute to continuous service review to ensure we remain aligned with sector best practices.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working across the student lifecycle within a higher education setting.
