Job Description
Providing a range of high quality general nursing services, specialist nursing advice and care to patients.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
Autonomous Working , Chronic disease management , Cervical screening, Child and adult immunisations Travel vaccinations. Health promotion Child health/child protection Performing ECGs Venepuncture and requesting pathology testing Infection control Chaperoning and assisting patients Effectively and appropriately communicate with the multi-disciplinary team regarding the care of individual patient Attend and participate in clinical and practice meetings as required
Proactive in identifying own needs for personal and professional development
Aware of the responsibility of all employees to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and visitors Ensure all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard and in accordance with any current protocols / legislation quality initiatives Provide patient care in accordance with current PGDs and clinical protocols, Other duties as required
