Are you proactive, detail-oriented, and a true team player? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Tree Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide expert arboricultural advice and support across a wide range of services. Your work will involve guiding both internal and external customers, identifying opportunities to improve our arboricultural policies and procedures, and helping us continue to deliver exceptional customer service.

Based at our Bracknell office, you’ll cover various sites across the South East and surrounding areas, with the flexibility to manage your own workload. Excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do, so strong communication skills and a commitment to keeping customers informed are essential. We take pride in going the extra mile and delivering services that truly make a difference.

To be successful in this role, you'll need a relevant qualification in arboriculture (ideally Level 4 or above, or equivalent experience), along with a solid understanding of tree health, risk-based tree management, and the ability to apply BS3998 and BS5837 standards. Experience in inspecting and reporting on trees using GIS or map-based asset management systems is also important, as is a full driving licence.

We're looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to high standards in everything they do. In return, you’ll be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team dedicated to improving services for residents and the communities we serve.

As part of your personal development, you’ll also have the opportunity to undertake the Level 6 Professional Arboriculturist apprenticeship through Abri.

In the role you will have the opportunity to use decay detection equipment including the Picus Sonic Tomograph and the Resi PD 400 which will allow you to develop your inspection and analysis skills. We’ll provide you with your uniform, company tablet & mobile as well as the PPE  you need to let you crack on with what you do best.

Not only this, you’ll be entitled to all the usual benefits from day one including 28 days holiday a year, generous pension and life assurance schemes and access to health and wellbeing packages.

We hold monthly talks where all Trades can attend to highlight what’s going on within Abri and provide information on processes.

If you’re ready for a new opportunity where your skills will be valued and your impact will be meaningful—we’d love to hear from you!

We review and interview suitable candidates as applications come in, so don’t delay—apply today to avoid missing out. If we receive enough applications, we may close the advert early.
