Are you interested in a career in farming? Is animal welfare of the highest priority to you? Do you have the flexibility to travel around the Ashbourne area managing a large number of farms on a relief basis?
Reporting to the Area Farm Manager, you will benefit from excellent training on all aspects of the job and will be given a full rota working 5/6 from 7 days per week. Your role will involve all areas of animal husbandry, and team management becoming a specialist in your field.
The position requires a driving licence as you will be mobile in your role, traveling to other farms in and around the local area covering full farm management, where necessary and supporting the local teams. What is important is your desire to work within farming and agriculture and develop a career in this industry.
Ideally, you will have had experience within poultry management however, candidates with other livestock experience will be considered.
