Summary
Under delegation, provide authorities for associations fixtures, training sessions, meetings, competitions, overseas trips and training camps, including sports coaching and officials programmes.
Guide associations and units through the organisation of overseas visits and provide authority for the visit to occur.
Manage the Directorate’s databases/records for:
Fixtures and Overseas Visits.
RAF representative colours.
RAF Sports Association Presidents, Chairmen and Secretaries.
Association AGMs, RAF Championships and Inter Service Competitions.
Inter-Service Results.
Understand tri-service, MOD policy application and rules and regulations governing sport in the Services in respect of RAF sports associations and Service Personnel.
Deputise for SDM in their absence or as directed.
Compile and distribute all RAF representative colours.
Act as deputy project officer for the annual RAF Sports Conference and RAF Sports Awards.
Assist SDM with the delivery of corporate communications, PR and media, leading on social media aspects.
Act as DRS MODNet Super User providing support on information management, AD/LSO duties and teams/SharePoint site
Deliver RAF Sports Briefs to RTS, participate in the delivery of briefs to IOT cadets at RAFC Cranwell and elsewhere, as required and dispatch sports achievement/interest pro-forma to associations.
