Part-Time (0.6) | September 2025 Start | MPS (up to M6)
Are you a passionate and experienced SEN teacher looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive and well-regarded school?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Primary SEN Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in the Rossendale Valley with a "Good" Ofsted rating and a strong local reputation. This is a job share position working closely with the current SENDCo, teaching within the school's dedicated SEN provision.
The Role:
- 3 days per week (0.6 FTE) - flexible days to be discussed
- Teaching a small group of 12 children with a range of additional needs
- Designing and delivering personalised learning plans tailored to each child
- Collaborating with the SENDCo, support staff, and wider school team
- Ensuring inclusive, engaging, and high-quality teaching and learning
- Initial contract for the 2025/2026 academic year, with a view to becoming permanent
The Ideal Candidate:
- A qualified teacher with substantial SEN experience
- Confident in planning and delivering differentiated lessons
- Skilled in developing and implementing EHCPs and personalised strategies
- A team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Committed to nurturing the potential of every child
Please note: Unfortunately, this role is not suitable for ECTs at this time.
Salary:
Paid on the Main Pay Scale (M1-M6), depending on experience.
