Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to kickstart your PE teaching career in a supportive and high-performing secondary school?
Quokka Education is excited to be partnering with a well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke, known for its strong GCSE outcomes, inclusive culture, and vibrant PE department. They are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to cover a long-term post starting June 2nd. There is strong potential for the role to become permanent in September or later in 2025.
About the Role:
- Teach PE to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, and resilience
- Use the school's excellent sports facilities to run a variety of physical activities
- Get involved in extra-curricular clubs and whole-school sporting events
- Join a friendly and experienced department who will support your early development
Who We're Looking For:
- A qualified PE teacher (QTS required)
- An Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to take on their first full role
- Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and a real passion for sport and physical education
