Job description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, including those requiring assistance with daily activities, personal care, and emotional support. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, elderly individuals, or those with specific health conditions such as dementia or requiring palliative care.
Responsibilities
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to promote their well-being.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Document care provided and report any concerns to the supervisor or healthcare professional.
• Drive clients to appointments or social outings if needed.
Requirements
• Previous in care is preferred but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others.
• Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients but not essential.
• A caring attitude and patience in dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
