Mobile Maintenance Electrician - Manchester - National Facilities Management

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join a leading national facilities management provider on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established organisation delivering first-class services across a wide range of industries.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial environments, with proven expertise in diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and ensuring electrical systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.

This is a mobile role, covering Manchester and surrounding areas.

Package:

- Competitive salary between £38,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Company van & fuel card provided
- Core hours: Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
- Participation in an on-call rota (details to be confirmed)

Responsibilities:

- Carry out routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential faults and ensure compliance
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and maximise equipment lifespan
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, ensuring systems are fully operational with minimal disruption
- Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting fixtures, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
- Work closely with other maintenance staff and external contractors to coordinate repair works and system upgrades
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with current health & safety regulations and company procedures

Qualifications:

- Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Maintenance Electrician role within the facilities management sector
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and compliance requirements
- Confident in fault finding, diagnosing, and resolving issues independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a customer-focused approach
