Summary
Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an experienced Senior Interim Public Health Analyst to support strategic decision-making and service improvement across public health initiatives. This role involves providing high-quality analysis and interpretation of complex health data to inform policy, commissioning, and operational planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead analytical projects using population health, epidemiological, and service data.
• Provide actionable insights to support public health strategies and performance monitoring.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across local government, NHS, and partner organisations.
• Support health needs assessments, health equity analysis, and impact evaluations.
• Present findings to senior stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in public health analysis, ideally within a local authority or NHS setting.
• Strong skills in data management, statistical analysis, and visualization
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate data into strategic insight.
• Understanding of public health policy, population health outcomes, and health inequalities.
