Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: 12.60ph plus £45p per mileage coverage
Contract: Permanent - 30 hours a week - 9am-5pm / 2-10pm

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults experiencing mental health challenges? We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our recovery-focused, community-based team supporting adults aged 18 and over in and around Penrith.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a key role in promoting recovery, independence, and social inclusion. You’ll work directly with individuals in their own homes and in the community to help them achieve their goals, build resilience, and improve their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred, strengths-based support tailored to individual recovery plans.
Promote independence and empower service users to make informed choices.
Support with day-to-day activities, emotional wellbeing, and social engagement.
Work collaboratively with local services, families, and other professionals.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to care reviews and planning.
What We’re Looking For
Experience or genuine interest in supporting adults with mental health needs.
A recovery-focused, non-judgemental, and compassionate approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
