Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit to Band 5 nursing positions within the specialty of Endoscopy.

You will need to demonstrate you have a keen interest in making a difference in the delivery of care for people with health needs, be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care; putting patients at the heart of everything you do and demonstrating the Trust’s Values and Behaviours.

You will be required to liaise with a wide range of healthcare professionals as well as patients, carers and the public. As such, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our Endoscopy Unit is JAG accredited this provides assurance that our care delivery is gold standard

This role will hold key responsibilities for the Day case Unit and Same Day Admissions be responsible to the Band 7 Unit Manager accountable for each area.
• To utilise and further enhance existing skills which enable the post holder to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within sphere of responsibility
• To ensure all patients receive high quality patient care
• To assist in the management and organisation of work in the clinical area
• To always act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
