The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Freelance P6 Planner to support our ongoing and upcoming construction projects. This is a flexible opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise in project scheduling and planning using Primavera P6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, tailored to the specific needs of each project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope, activities, and timelines.
  • Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying potential delays and critical path issues.
  • Provide regular schedule updates and reports to the project team, highlighting progress, risks, and potential impacts.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address schedule deviations.
  • Update and revise schedules as required, incorporating changes and ensuring accurate reflection of project status.
  • Conduct schedule analysis and provide insights to support effective decision-making.
  • Assist with tender planning and schedule development for new projects.
  • Ensure all scheduling activities align with project requirements and best practices.

About You:

  • Extensive experience as a P6 Planner within the construction industry.
  • Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 software is essential.
  • A strong understanding of construction planning principles, techniques, and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify and address schedule challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams.
  • Ability to manage your time effectively and work independently to meet project deadlines.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in a construction-related discipline is desirable.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality planning support on a freelance basis.
