The Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen to join the University of Edinburgh in catering department as a Development chef. The role will be based in our training / development kitchen at Pollock halls in Edinburgh.
As a Development chef, you will work closely with the University culinary leads in the development of our food offers, management of our recipe bank, liaise with our suppliers and bring innovation to our food and menu development.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Keen interest and demonstrated knowledge of on trend food for the higher education sector.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interpret briefs and deliver.
Team player.
Self-motivated with a passion for career development.
Ability to train and develop others.
