Registered Children's Home Manager – Transform Lives in a High-Impact Role
Location: Bolton
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Annual Bonus
1-Bed Specialist Home | Full-Time, Permanent
Are you an experienced and compassionate leader ready to take the next step in your career? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs?
We’re seeking a Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a small, innovative residential home in Bolton. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a specialist service from the ground up – offering the care, stability, and support every child deserves.
What’s in it for you?
We know the value of great people – that’s why we offer a competitive package and a nurturing environment where you can thrive:
• £50,000 – £60,000 per annum
• Annual bonus + Ofsted performance incentives
• 28 days holiday
• Casual dress & regular company events
• Pension scheme
• Real opportunities for career progression
• Supportive leadership team and ongoing training
• A chance to truly change lives
About the Role
As Home Manager, you’ll take the lead in:
• Launching and growing a new, purpose-driven residential service
• Creating a warm, safe and empowering environment for young people
• Building a strong, committed care team with shared values
• Collaborating with families and professionals to ensure exceptional care
• Ensuring full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding standards
About You
We’re looking for someone who is not just experienced – but inspired. You’ll bring:
• 2+ years in residential childcare, ideally with leadership experience
• Level 3 & 5 Diplomas in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
• A full UK driving licence
• A strong, values-led approach to supporting young people
• Confidence in managing challenging behaviours with empathy and skill
• Flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the service
This is more than a job – it’s a calling. If you’re ready to build something meaningful, nurture young lives, and lead with heart, we’d love to hear from you.
