Planning Officer needed in Newton Abbot Paying £38 per hr ref 5268066
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide professional recommendations on a range of planning applications and submissions, referencing Development Plan policies and material considerations.
- Manage your own caseload efficiently using digital tools to meet performance targets.
- Ensure all planning records and documentation are accurately maintained and publicly accessible where appropriate, in line with statutory requirements.
- Draft clear and concise recommendations and reports for high-volume planning proposals within set timescales.
- Engage in negotiations to improve planning proposals and secure positive outcomes.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to queries from applicants, agents, and stakeholders via phone, email, and in person.
