Here is a great opportunity for a registered Occupational Therapist who is interested in working with our third sector partners in supporting the delivery of the Recovery College within the South East of Essex.
We are seeking a creative and motivated Occupational Therapist to work closely with key stakeholders to define and develop the role of the OT within the Recovery College. Building on both the principles of the recovery college and co production defined by IMROC, and utilising their core skills of Occupational Therapy within this educational rather than clinical setting.
The successful applicant will be based within the Recovery College, support the co-production and co-delivery of courses identified by the students of the college. Maximising student engagement during their individual journey's through the college.
While working as the sole OT within Reach Recovery college you will be supported to maintain close ties with fellow OT's working within Recovery College across Mid and South East Essex, through regular shared reflective practise sessions and joint CPD. You will also be supervised by the Band 7 Clinical Lead OT from the local Recovery and Wellbeing Team and be linked with the wider Occupational Therapy network within the Trust, affording opportunities for development, supporting the wider AHP agenda.
To work with third sector providers to co-develop and deliver appropriate recovery focused learning opportunities for students of the college.
To support and guide fellow workers in the use of group work/interventions to support recovery.
To work with students of college to help identify the learning that might support them within their recovery journey.
To work across a range of locations including: Trust-Links sites, local community sites, EPUT Trust sites and client homes as indicated.
