Whilst better known contractors have apple crumbled, this business has quietly gone about their business over the last 10 years and are now one of the most reputable around. There's no massive egos in this family firm and they offer you a simple chain of command between site and office whilst giving you the tools to do your job.
There's none of the unrealistic targets you get at some companies and continuous work in the Greater Manchester work for many years to come. They have a system that allows you to do your job as a Site Manager whereas others only want you to be a pencil pusher and beyond this one they’ve got all sorts of interesting projects coming through to keep you interested – including hi-rise – a market they’ve started to move into.
Your site itself is in Bolton and will let you loose on 44 timber frame houses and 12 traditional build apartments – if you’ve run these types of developments before, then great – you’re one step ahead of others. It’s part of a larger scheme which is a flagship one for the business with over 200 plots.
Package wise, on top of the competitive salary, you’ll get a car allowance, entry into a company wide bonus programme and if you’ve not got your certs up to date, I’d say these guys are as good as any for putting you through the relevant tickets.
