Description of Duties:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of both the cleaning and security teams.
Review work performance of both cleaning and security and motivate the team to ensure the required standards are met.
Ensure staff adhere to the practices and procedures as set down in the site Assignment Instructions.
Demonstrate an understanding of health and safety requirements, ensuring adherence at all times.
Monitor building operations and equipment used by staff, reporting any issues to Centre Management.
Monitor control room operations and ensure all checks are carried out and all supporting documents are correctly maintained and sent to Management.
Respond to calls for assistance from tenants and members of the public and assist the Police and other emergency services.
Deal with all incidents in a calm and non-provocative manner.
Maintain a family friendly atmosphere within the centre.
Respond to emergency situations in-line with the Centre’s emergency procedures and policies.
Ensure that excellent levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
Oversee normal operations of the centre when management are not on site, ensuring that the duty manager is informed of any significant events and that correct procedures are followed in the event of an emergency.
Assist with special events, ensuring that the centre and the team is presented in a positive manner.
Experience/Skill Requirements- Essential:
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills to all levels.
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
• SIA CCTV licence
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Driven to achieve high standards.
• Excellent standards of customer service and customer service oriented.
• Team player – maintaining close working relationships with all colleagues within the business.
