An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cleaner to join a reputable educational firm. This role offers competitive salary and benefits.
As aCleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across accommodation and shared spaces while helping to ensure student welfare.
You will be responsible for:
- Keeping bedrooms, corridors, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas clean and presentable.
- Following cleaning schedules and completing routine checklists.
- Ensuring the laundry room remains clean, tidy and secure.
- Maintaining accurate sign-in/out records and always wearing the required uniform AND ID badge.
- Managing room turnovers and preparing spaces as needed during student intake or departure periods.
- Acting as a first point of contact for students with queries, concerns, or complaints.
- Reporting any signs of illness, distress, or potential safeguarding issues.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, School Cleaner, Facilities Cleaner, Cleaning Assistant, Housekeeperor in a similar role.
- Ideally have experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry services within a residential or institutional setting
- An understanding of basic health & safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow written instructions and complete routine forms.
