We are currently recruiting to our Cambridge Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team service and have an opportunity for a Band 7 Advanced Clinical Lead to join our well established Team.
Clinically the post holder would have the ability to provide advanced psychological formulations and involvement, in the planning and management of complex patients, as well supporting other teams & services, regarding treatment and referral pathway.
The successful candidate will work autonomouslywithin professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. You will utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service, and provide advice to the Modern Matron and & Team Managers on methods of evaluating the work of the team including advising and developing outcomes measures.
You will have access to regular clinical, managerial supervision to support you in your day to day work and will be required to work a rotation of early; late and night shifts.There is the opportunity for professional support and development in areas such as advanced training and leadership roles.
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. The post holder will work within the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team which provides a mental health service seven day a week, 24 hour a day within a community setting.
The Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team provide an emergency response and/or psychosocial assessment in order to identify those who present with a range of mental health problems and who are in crisis. Referral agencies include, Liaison Psychiatry, First Response Service and our adult mental health services.

• To deliver on-going specialist assessments of adult service users referred to, and under the care of the CRHTT.
• To establish and deliver clinical supervision –group and individual – to the CRHT practitioners in line with current good practice and with the Trusts supervision policy.
• To develop formulations of presenting problems or situations that integrates information from assessments alongside other team members.
• To be responsible for implementing a range of interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups.
• To provide specialist professional advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to service users’ formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan.
• To undertake risk assessment and risk management for service users within CRHTT working within Trust and inter-agency policies and procedures, including work with service users deemed as vulnerable adults.
• To act as lead clinician for undertaking assessments and advising service users other mental health professionals in matters arising from the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults framework
