About the role:
The role is to be part of our vehicle maintenance team working at our Workshop in Newtown.
Our team look after over 500 vehicles ranging from small cars to large trucks
including several specialist vehicles.
About you:
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Skilled in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve
mechanical issues
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and
resolve complex mechanical problems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure safe and reliable vehicle repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and
deliver high-quality service
• Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest automotive
technologies and repair techniques
What you will do:
• Undertake 6-weekly PMI's
• Servicing of vehicles & Plant equipment
• MOT preparation
• Fault diagnosis
• On-call - Winter months
There is no DBS requirement for this position
