Job Title: Operational Disability Support Worker - Part-time
Enhanced DBS required for this role
Preference for five hours per day x 4 days per week. Alternatively, 6.6 hours per week spread over 3 days. Excluding Tuesdays.
Role will be based at Civic Centre in Gateshead although also may be required to assist at community visits.
The role:
Assist the supported employee update manual and computerised records to ensure a high level of accuracy is maintained and data and reports are produced as and when required.
Support a council employee with administrative tasks, typing, minute taking.
Key requirements:
Using office-based software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Working in an administrative setting
Minute taking
Prioritising workload and working to tight deadlines
Disability aware
Effective written and oral communication skills demonstrating a high standard of accuracy.
Ability to use own initiative
