Summary
Ensure Standard Operating Procedures and Protocols are adhered within the Surgical Training Centre Adhere to Trust policy, HTA licensing requirements, Department of Health regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. To take responsibility for the disinfection, cleaning and general maintenance of the Training Centre and equipment. To be responsible for all consumable ordering and check routine stock levels within the centre and to manage the storage area. Arranging for specimens received for medical education to be received, stored, handled and disposed of appropriately. Ensure the plastinated prosections housed within the Centre are stored securely, safely and appropriately in accordance with HTA and Department of Health standards. To ensure all users/visitors to the centre abide by Standard Operating Procedures and codes of conduct. To participate in evening and weekend work as and when the service requires.
