Voyage Learning Campus is seeking a skilled and compassionate Transition and Outreach Support Worker to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to re-engage with education and thrive.
Working primarily with students in Phase 2 of our provision (Year 8-11 PRU), you’ll play a key part in delivering targeted SEMH interventions, supporting transition between settings, and promoting positive behaviour and engagement across the school.
Your role will include:
• Developing and delivering bespoke support programmes for individuals and small groups
• Supporting students at risk of exclusion or disengagement
• Collaborating with SLT, mainstream schools, and external agencies
• Occasionally covering lessons and contributing to a positive school culture
• Helping build strong relationships with families and carers
We are looking for someone who has:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in student support or a welfare role
• Experience of managing behaviour and promoting inclusion
• A solid understanding of SEMH needs and Thrive-informed practice
• A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential for student transport)
