My remote based client are looking for a Test Automation Consultant to join their team on a 3 month contract (Outside IR35) to help their transition from manual to automated UI Testing. This role is remote, but requires an individual to be based within the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Manual Testers to identify key UI Testing Automation opportunities
- Design, Develop and maintain robust and scalable Playwright UI Test Automation Scripts
- Integrate Automated Tests into their existing CI/CD Pipeline to support continuous testing
- Support on other forms of testing including API, Performance and Regression
- Get involved in defect triage and collaborate with developers and testers to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manor.
- Take charge of quality and best practice of Test Automation across the Team
You must have...
- Proven experience writing and maintaining Test Automation scripts with Playwright (Javascript/Typescript preferred)
- Solid understanding of UI Testing principles, frameworks and best practice.
- Experience of integrating test automation into CI/CD Environments (Azure DevOps)
