Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Compliance Manager to lead and manage our organization's compliance program. The successful candidate will ensure that our business operations and procedures comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies and will support the implementation of best practices to mitigate compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the business remains up to date with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and coordinate responses to inquiries or investigations.
• Train and educate staff on compliance-related matters.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues or breaches, reporting findings to senior management.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory authorities as required.
• Support internal departments by providing compliance advice during decision-making processes.
• Maintain records of compliance activities, including complaints and investigations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional certification)
• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., FCA, GDPR, AML, SOX, etc. depending on sector).
• Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external regulators.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with compliance tools or platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, NAVEX, etc.).
• Project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
