We currently have a great opportunity for a to join our Facilities Management team at Riverview, Penkridge on a part-time, permanent basis. We're looking for a dedicated professional to bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive outstanding services.
The Role
Riverview is a Retirement Living scheme and a place where our valued tenants call home. As a Cleaner within the Facilities Management team, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the scheme is a safe and clean environment for our residents.
You will be responsible for ensuring office spaces, meeting rooms and communal areas are cleaned efficiently. Duties will include cleaning common areas, cleaning toilets and guest accommodation, bath and shower areas; polishing surfaces, furniture and office equipment; replenish consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls and paper towels as required; empty waste bins and use chemical agents as directed by the supervising officer. You will ensure that that Health and Safety and safe working practices are followed and report any maintenance, security and safety concerns to the Facilities Managers immediately.
Skills and experience required
Literate and numerate to Key Skills Entry Level 1
The ability to carry out work under minimal supervision
The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and moving furniture to enable you to undertake cleaning your duties
Experience of carrying out basic cleaning tasks
An understanding of basic health and safety requirements
A commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and customer care
The ability to create positive working relationships with colleagues and provide excellent customer service to our customers
A full UK Driving Licence
