What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you a passionate teacher of early primary education looking for a rare and exciting opportunity to establish something new? To really be able to frame and impact the culture and learning experiences of children based on understanding child development to enhance their educational experience?

We are currently recruiting an Infant Teacher to join our current team, enhancing the KS1 offer, which has the value of play intrinsically woven into the curriculum. This is an opportunity to experience the freedom to teach in a manner which is driven by the knowledge of how children learn (with the added benefit of small class sizes) and by using your educational experience to help shape every decision we make.

We are looking for candidates who are experienced in EYFS and Year 1, are keen to share their ideas by working as part of a team and individuals who see teaching as a reflective and ongoing discipline.

We value a love of learning and actively promote the characteristics that make lifelong learners such as curiosity, hard work, critical thinking and a thirst for knowledge. We champion values such as empathy, tolerance and kindness that will develop learners who are game-changers, making the world a better place. Our students are empowered and supported to develop life skills such as resilience, confidence and courage, which will help them to overcome any obstacles that may stand in the way of achieving their potential.

What the school offers its staff

As a school we are resolute in our commitment to creating a learning environment for children which recognises the developmental stages that we have built into our pedagogy. To further enhance our growth we are developing our infant phase, a continuous provision from EYFS through to Year 2.

We offer a warm, close knit, supportive working environment with helpful and supportive parents in a beautiful village setting.

Rusper Primary School is committed to supporting the professional development and career progression of all it's staff.
