The team are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support their Financial Controller in a broad and busy role.
Your new role
As the Assistant Accountant, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the finance function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct daily multi-currency bank reconciliations.
- Perform weekly and monthly cash flow updates.
- Report on group prepayments.
- Aid in end-of-month procedures.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations.
- Post month-end revenue and reconcile commissions.
- Assist with the review of Profit & Loss statements.
- Support and respond to various audit queries during year-end audits.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably working towards an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or equivalent) with a focus on detail and be highly motivated. You should be comfortable with all aspects of financial management, from ledger management to bank reconciliations.
