The Medical Staffing Team provides a comprehensive Medical HR and Medical Education Service to the Trust. Working as a key member of this small and friendly team you will support the team by responding to day to day queries, minute taking in meetings and providing general administrative support.

You will be actively involved in the induction of our resident doctors and ensuring the smooth running of our medical student placements.

If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].

As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
• To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support service to the team. To include the organisation of clerical workload, organisation of meetings, taking minutes and call handling duties
• Take a lead under the supervision of the Medical Staffing Team Leader on the coordination of the induction programme and on-call rotas for Resident Doctors and Medical Student placements.
• Provide a confidential, quality administrative service to the team
• Display and maintain high levels of customer service at all times, ensuring all individuals have a positive experience at their point ofcontact
• To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with staff, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies
• To Provide first level HR advice and support to managers and employees, escalating where appropriate
• Manage the medicalpersonnel inbox ensuring that messages are responded to promptly and accurately
• To provide pastoral support and be the first point of contact for resident doctor and medical student queries ensuring these are responded to in a timely manner.
