Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing individual and small group support to pupils, assisting with learning activities.
- Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation.
- Contributing to a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Communicating effectively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents/carers.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding guidelines.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK primary school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Knowledge of specific educational programs or initiatives used in primary schools (e.g., phonics schemes).
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare.
