Summary

Salary: £12.60 per hour plus an additional £1,500 (per annum) for Team Leader responsibilities

Hours: 39 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Location: Based in Birmingham

Job Profile
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative Team Leader, you will be joining our Maintenance team and dedicated team of Ground Care professionals in providing a quality estate service. Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance and hard surfaces maintenance.

As a Team Leader – Managing your own team of 2 or 3 to deliver grounds maintenance works, overseeing quality standards, and health and safety within your team, and demonstrating company values through a positive culture and can-do attitude.

Candidate Profile

You will be values driven and focused on delivering a great service:

Demonstrable experience in grounds maintenance, including ride-on machinery and hand tools.
Able to work safely using a range of equipment and hand tools e.g., strimmer’s, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.
Able to work on your own or as a part of a team, providing a good quality service.
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Full driving licence
