Job title: Libraries & Learning Lead

Location: South Yorkshire

Hourly rate: £16.43 per hour

Contract Length: 6 months

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with an established FE college to help employ an experienced Library & Learning Lead educator.

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Library Lead to help shape our libraries into innovative, digital-first learning environments.

Essentials for the role:

  • Must have experience within a Library setting, College or School.
  • Must be able to lead others and manage the service of the College.
  • DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the campus Library & Digital team, ensuring staff have the tools and training they need.
  • Oversee library budgets and work with teaching staff to provide essential learning resources.
  • Develop and deliver engaging inductions, workshops, and support sessions-covering Digital Skills, Google tools, and Study Skills.
  • Organise and support events like learning lounges to introduce new tools and technologies.
  • Maintain key systems
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training and support initiatives through regular feedback and data analysis.
