M&E Quantity Surveyor
A great opportunity for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join this Tier 1 Main Contractor with their new £60m project.
About the role of M&E Quantity Surveyor
In this role you will be working with a leading M&E Contractor, working on a £60m project on Maidstone area. You will be the M&E lead working on a modular build.
Responsibilities for M&E Quantity Surveyor
- Feasibility, Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
- Preparing contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
- Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
- Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
- Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVR's
- Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
- Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded.
Requirements for M&E Quantity Surveyor
- Experience with commercially managing high value M&E projects.
- Experience with hospitals, laboratories and residential projects.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel skills being a must.
- Experience of M&E Quantity Surveying and financial knowledge of construction costs.
- An understanding of NEC contracts
