Summary
Join our team as a Sales Executive Apprentice! We operate a dynamic, customer-focused business that offers fitness, well-being, and recreational services to communities within Cheshire East.
We’re passionate about helping people lead happier and healthier lives — and we’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our sales team!
As a Sales Executive Apprentice, you’ll learn the ropes of promoting memberships, events, and leisure packages while gaining valuable sales experience.
Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, you’ll develop the confidence and skills to build relationships, meet targets, and drive business growth — all while studying toward a nationally recognised Level 4 Sales Executive qualification.
Job duties include:
• Support the sales team in generating and following up leads
• Provide outstanding customer service and handle customer inquiries
• Assist with marketing campaigns and promotional events
• Help convert prospects into members through telephone, email, and face-to-face engagement
• Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
• Achieve personal and team sales targets

We recruited our first apprentices in 2015 and since then have employed 63 people in a diverse range of roles. Some have since started their progression into management roles or are delivering Personal Trainer programmes for customers.
We work closely with our training providers to deliver high-quality apprenticeships that cover personal development and soft skills as well as the core educational elements of the apprenticeship.
Developing our people to be the best is one of our four strategic aims and is at the core of our business. We’re very proud of the quality of our apprenticeship scheme & the opportunities that it provides. Everybody received the Training and Development Award at the 2024 East Cheshire Business Awards. We are an accredited Investors in People (IIP) employer.
Pay & Benefits
18-month (approx.) apprenticeship programme
37 hours per week including early mornings, evenings & weekends (operational roles)
Starting salary of £21,561 (current rates) per year for full time, with 6 monthly performance-based pay rise
25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5-years’ service)
