Salary: £60,515.29 per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am - 5pm

Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD



G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Electrical Engineering Lead on a full-time, permanent basis based in Bridgwater.



We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced individual to lead and coordinate all electrical maintenance and installation works within the G4S FM scope at HPC main site and associated development sites. This role includes implementing a robust quality assurance program for electrical maintenance and supporting the Hard Service Manager and Head of Technical Services in achieving overall Hard Services excellence.



Responsibilities

To develop, improve and maintain an exceptionally strong working relationship between the Electrical and Mechanical engineering teams, client contacts, sub-contractors, suppliers and other G4S staff
To establish a collaborative working relationship with the Mechanical Engineering Lead, Support Services Lead and associated team
To support the Hard Service Manager and Head of Technical Services in the delivery of the overall Hard FM services and seek out continuous improvement
To price and deliver minor works and tasks across the HPC estate
To manage PPM and reactive repair tasks delegated to the teams ensuring completion to contract priorities and KPIs
Prepare risk assessments, method statements and associated paperwork
Maintain the standards, service level agreements and key performance indicators of this service
To assist in the management and allocation of resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements for these services within the prescribed budget
To work closely with the client, offering and sharing advice & knowledge, taking a joined up approach in relation to service delivery
Work with the Helpdesk to ensure accuracy of PPM records
Ensuring that robust procedures and processes are in place and adhered to in order to maintain staffing levels appropriate to contractual requirements
To assist with the collation of monthly and annual contract reports for ultimate submission to the client outlining; activities, achievements and general operational performance for the reporting period
To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at work act and all G4S and HPC site policies and emergency procedures
To assist with the mobilisation of new services


The Ideal Candidate:
Essential

ONC (or equivalent) qualified in Electrical Engineering.
Proven operational experience with HV & LV systems, standby power, and UPS.
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a team effectively.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a track record of delivering to deadlines.
Proficient in workload allocation and monitoring to meet contract demands.
Excellent interpersonal and team management skills.
Proficient IT skills with a working understanding of site requirements.
