We're on the lookout for a Social Media and Content Officer to take our Sport & Leisure channels to the next level. This isn't just about posting content; it about creating a movement - bringing people together, growing our digital presence, and driving income through creative and engaging content.

Working with the Communications and Marketing team you¼ reach hundreds of thousands of residents every single month, with endless possibilities to create unique content across multiple platforms targeting multiple audiences.

We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of social media who can comfortably run a range of accounts across several social media platforms, maintaining the desired brand voice. Someone with a great eye for a story digital content and the pictures/videos needed to tell it.

Duties of the role

Running our Sport & Leisure social channels day-to-day, growing and engaging our online community.
Creating thumb-stopping content (photo, video, stories, reels, and more) that gets people talking - and booking.
Showcasing our facilities, classes, and events in fun, engaging, and innovative ways.
Keeping up with social trends and using them to increase reach and revenue.
Capturing content on the go - whether it at the gym, a local sports event, or a new fitness class launch.
Tracking performance and making data-driven decisions to maximise impact and return on investment.

Qualifications and skills required

Someone who lives and breathes social media - if you're always ahead of the trends, we want you.
A creative thinker with an eye for visuals, great storytelling skills, and a knack for community-building.
Experience in managing multiple social platforms and using analytics to improve performance.
Bonus points if you have basic design, video editing, or content creation skills.
If you're ready to shape the future of our Sport & Leisure content, build a thriving digital community, and use social media to make a real impact, we love to hear from you!
