Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Health and Safety trainers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions that educate employees on health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance and fostering a safe working environment. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing workplace safety across various industries.
If you're an experienced trainer and are registered with a regulated awarding body recognised by Ofqual, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive health and safety training programs for diverse audiences
- Utilise effective public speaking techniques to engage participants during training sessions
- Assess the training needs of businesses to tailor programs accordingly
- Provide ongoing support and resources to trainees post-training
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in health and safety
- Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and assessments
Requirements:
- 3 years of professional training experience (desirable but not essential)
- Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent)
- Up-to-date qualifications in relevant subject areas (e.g. First Aid, Fire Safety)
- Registered as a training centre, or willing to register as a training centre with our awarding body QNUK
- Alternative awarding bodies - Highfield, NUCO, Qualsafe, Pro Trainings
- Centre status required
- Current DBS
- Must be able to provide paperwork and regulated certificates
- IQA resource to support training delivery
- Clean & well-maintained equipment required to teach courses (e.g. resuscitation manikins for First Aid courses)
- Access to a vehicle and a full driving license
- Basic knowledge and understanding of Email, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- A friendly & professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills
- A good standing of references
