Summary

Full Time, Permanent

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organised Planner to join our team in Worksop. The Planner will be responsible for ensuring effective planning of materials, production, and capacity for our 3 UK sites to meet customer demands while optimising inventory levels and manufacturing efficiency.

Hours:
07.45am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
07.45am -12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and sales teams to align schedules and priorities.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage material availability to support production.
• Review customer orders, and internal capacity to plan production requirements.
• Manage manufacturing orders and ensure accurate documentation and data integrity.
• Communicate any changes in schedule or delivery to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve potential supply or capacity constraints proactively.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and supply chain processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and carry out all tasks in accordance with AQ Wiring Systems Rockford Components Ltd Quality and Health and Safety Procedures.

Experience / Skills / Attributes

• Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning, MRP/ERP systems, and supply chain principles.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience in the automotive or wiring harness industry - desirable
