Summary
Specific responsibilities will include:
Managing and maintaining HMS NEPTUNE weapon holdings and carrying out repairs as necessary. Conducting building Health & Safety tasks and Unit administration to facilitate the operational output of the Unit.
Key relationships:
Working within MTE Clyde under the Warfare Support Training Group (WSTG) as a lodger Unit, with close interaction with all major units on the site including Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Ministry of Defence Police and other local stakeholders.
Main Duties include:
To manage and maintain HMS Neptune weapon holdings in accordance with current policies and legalisation.
To liaise with outside authorities to ensure all upgrades and maintenance of the weapons holdings are kept current.
Ensure all weapons are ready in all respects for mandated Series Inspections.
Contribute to the booking of all MTE Clyde resources via computer based booking system.
Act as secondary Dismounted Close Combat Trainer(DCCT) custodian.
Act a secondary Range Warden.
Assistant building HS officer.
IT authorised demander.
