Gas Installation Engineer

Rochford covering South Essex

£42,847
- £45,102 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 4:30pm
We are looking for a qualified domestic Gas Installation Engineer who can work as part of our team and on their own while completing a defined workload of installation jobs per day. You will join our gas installations team in Gas Operations within Sanctuary Property Services to assist with the servicing, maintenance and installation of gas boilers and heating systems for our customers in South Essex with occasional travel into Kent.

The role of Gas Installation Engineer will include:

- Carrying out installation and commissioning of gas central heating systems
- Undertaking direct replacements of combination type central heating boilers and Open Vented/Sealed System to combination conversions
- Installation of radiators and associated pipework
- Some repairs and servicing
- Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed


Skills and experiences:

- To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented
- G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS)
- The ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems
- Have a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence


As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
