Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: £14,486 per annum

St David’s Hospice is a local charity providing specialist care for adults with life-limiting illnesses or in need of end-of-life care, as well as support for their families. Each year, we impact the lives of over 1,000 people across Conwy, Gwynedd, and Anglesey.

Our services include 24/7 care, Day Therapy Centres offering patient care and bereavement support, and Inpatient Units in Llandudno and Holyhead providing symptom control, respite, and end-of-life care.

People are at the heart of everything we do, with integrity and care shaping our culture.

About the role: We’re looking for an enthusiastic and community-minded fundraiser to grow support for St David’s Hospice across Gwynedd. You’ll connect with local groups, schools, and individuals to raise vital funds, organise community events, and build lasting relationships.

We are looking for someone who will:
Lead community fundraising across Gwynedd
Grow income from local groups, schools, and individuals
Organise events and community activities
Build strong relationships with supporters and thank them
Promote collections, events, and merchandise in the community
Represent the Hospice at local events and presentations
Work closely with the wider fundraising team to meet targets

To do the role you'll need:
Experience in community fundraising or a similar role
Great communication and public speaking skills
Highly organised and detail-focused
Able to work on your own and as part of a team
Experience working with community groups
Confident pitching new ideas and initiatives
Be willing to work weekends and evenings as required by the role
Full UK driving licence
Empathy for the Hospice, and alignment with the charity’s values.
