What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Assistant Senior Chemistry Technician to join our busy Science Department at our ‘Outstanding’ school. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in chemistry and have relevant laboratory technician experience, particularly within a school or educational setting.

You will be responsible for overseeing chemical safety, including routine checks, storage and troubleshooting practical’s, and be able to provide specialist support in chemistry, while assisting with other sciences when necessary.

As well as a sound knowledge of science procedures and requirements, you will need excellent organisational and inter-personnel skills, have a pro-active approach and the ability to work independently as well as the ability to relate well to staff, students and parents. This is a fantastic opportunity to implement and develop your skills within a friendly team.
