What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a proactive and organised Lead Cover Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality lesson cover and coordinate the deployment of staff in response to both planned and unplanned absences.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining consistency and continuity in students’ learning by managing a team of Cover Supervisors, liaising with internal staff and external supply agencies, and leading on the organisation of daily and long-term cover arrangements. You will be the first point of contact for staff absence reporting, maintain accurate records using SIMS, and ensure efficient allocation of cover each morning.
Alongside these duties, you will also act as a Cover Supervisor when required—supervising classes and delivering pre-planned activities in the absence of the class teacher.
