Are you a PA or aspirant to be a PA? The Role

The Personal Assistant to the Headteacher plays a pivotal role in enabling the Headteacher to operate at a strategic level. This high-trust role demands exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The PA is responsible for managing complex scheduling, facilitating seamless communication, coordinating key school events, and representing the Headteacher in a range of interactions with internal and external stakeholders. This role is suitable for experienced PA’s or those aspirant to be a PA and training would be given as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a school administrative or PA/EA role – experience in education is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, writing, and proofreading skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and calendar/email management systems.
• High levels of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, anticipatory approach to problem-solving.
• Confidence managing up, liaising with senior stakeholders, and juggling multiple priorities independently.
• Some experience in project management and data analysis would be useful
