InHealth is looking for a skilled Mammographer to join our Breast Screening team in Exeter. We provide a compassionate and high-quality breast screening service, helping women access the care they need through rapid and accurate assessments. Youll work within a multi-disciplinary team that includes Consultant Radiologists, Associate Breast Clinicians, experienced Radiographers, and Mammographers, all following the NHSBSPs principles of triple assessment: mammography, clinical examination, and needle biopsy. Perform high-quality mammograms to screen women for breast cancer, offering essential early detection services. Participate in assessment clinics, including stereotactic biopsies, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best care for patients. Support and mentor Assistant Practitioners in their development, helping to elevate the entire team. Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery while ensuring a high standard of care for every patient. What Were Looking For: A BSc in Radiography and PG Cert in Mammography. Current HCPC registration. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of patients, providing reassurance and clear information. Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and across organisational boundaries. A commitment to maintaining and expanding technical knowledge in breast imaging, staying up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends.
