To support with:
Cleaning/gardening/general household tasks
Food and retail shopping
Social Inclusion
Batch Cooking
To make and help attend GP appointments.
GP appointments are within walking distance but the gentleman would require a PA to drive him to food/retail shopping and maybe for the social inclusion.
The gentleman suffered a serious head injury when he was younger, which has left him blind and with short term memory loss.
He requires support to assist him, not complete tasks on his behalf.
He would like to get out in the garden and travel into the city for some retail therapy. He is particularly interested in clothes and record shopping and he is a keen motoring enthusiast.
Any PA applying for the position would need to be able to use their own car and would receive a mileage allowance.
Other benefits include: 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (Pro rata) Pension, Tax and NI contributions.
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and respectful of others’ privacy, dignity, values, and beliefs.
Genuine applicants only please. DBS check applicable to this role.
Role subject to interview and references.
