The Role

This is a very exciting and varied role in the College’s Admissions and Outreach team, providing an opportunity to develop expertise in the Cambridge admissions process and the widening participation sector, and to exercise significant creativity in producing online outreach resources.

As Admissions and Outreach Coordinator (AOC), you will take on primary responsibility for content creation for the thriving Caius Schools social media channels (nearly 20,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram). You will work with the Tutor for Admissions and Outreach (TAO) and Schools Liaison Officer (SLO) to devise ideas for regular new videos, filming, starring in and editing them as appropriate. You will also work with the TAO, SLO and London Outreach Officer to provide administrative and delivery support for the College’s ambitious access and outreach programme, including both online and in person programmes and events.

You will have the opportunity to develop substantial expertise in the Cambridge admissions process, working with the TAO and Admissions Officer to facilitate the smooth running of the College’s admissions process between the months of October and January.

This is a valuable opportunity to join a large, motivated and talented Admissions and Outreach team, working to a defined and comprehensive Outreach Strategy (currently in the process of renewal for 2026–2031) which has seen significant results in recent years. In January 2025, Caius made the highest number of offers of any Cambridge college to candidates from UK state schools, and the fourth highest by proportion.

We welcome applications from graduates, outreach professionals looking for their next step, and anyone with relevant skills, enthusiasm and experience.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The annual full time equivalent salary for this role is £31,037.

Please note: An enhanced DBS check is required for this role
